1. Dry desulfurization technology

Brief Introduction of SDS dry desulfurization process

  SDS dry deacidification injection technology is to spray high efficient desulfurizer (20-25ΜM, mainly sodium bicarbonate) evenly inside the pipe. As the desulfurizer is thermally activated inside the pipe, it has a rapid increase in its specific surface area to achieve a good contact with coke oven flue gas initiating physical and chemical reactions, therefore, acidic contents such as SO2 in flue gas are absorbed  and the purified flue gas is carried by the blower fan via outlet flue to the original chimney and discharged into the atmosphere.

(1) There is no desulfurization tower, no need for a large amount of solid circulating ash to circulate in the tower, nor need to spray slurry, the system is simple, low resistance, easy operation and maintenance.

(2) High desulfurization efficiency, reasonable desulfurizer uniform-distribution device.

(3) Less one-time investment, small covering area and low operating costs.

(4) Completely dry system and no need of water.

(5) 100% removal rate of acidic content.

2. Semi-dry desulfurization technology

A. SDA semi-dry desulfurization technology

Brief introduction of SDA semi-dry desulfurization process

  Coke oven flue gas enters into SDA (rotary spray drying) absorption tower from the entrance of the desulfurization tower, contacts with the atomized desulfurizer (NA2CO3/CAO) slurry to initiate physical and chemical reactions. SO2 in the flue gas is absorbed for purification. By the absorption of SO2 and drying, the powder-containing flue gas goes out of absorption tower, into the bag filter for purifying and further desulfurization reaction, where a part of the ash collected by bag filter passes through the air chute into the circulating ash bin for recycling, thus improving the use ratio of desulfurizer, another part of the ash is sent into ash silo by bin pump for discharge and the purified flue gas is carried by the blower fan via outlet flue to the original chimney and discharged into the atmosphere.
